Family Easter Picnic

After naps on Saturday, we met my parents, Louisa and BJ, Paw Paw and Carol, and Cha Cha and Clide at our neighborhood park for a picnic dinner. The weather was beautiful and no one else was around. It was so calm and peaceful and just an amazing time together. The kids attempted to fish, but only the turtles were biting. We had a cookout, played frisbee, rode bikes, and hunted for Easter eggs. It was so nice to watch the kids all running around and having so much fun, while enjoying a cool breeze in a lawn chair and getting to visit with family.

With all the craziness of getting our house ready to put on the market and Rob working long hours for tax season, I haven't really processed what it will mean to leave this neighborhood that we love so much. After having wonderful time in such a beautiful place, it is really starting to sink in what this move will mean for us. I know it is the right decision, but we will really miss Travis Country.
