Spring Break Trip

My mom planned our Spring Break trip this year, which we named "The Texas History Tour".  We started with a visit to our friends in Halletsville.  The next day with conquered Gonzales "Come and Take It" and Goliad.  The next day we drove into Houston and went to the San Jacinto Monument.  I was reminded of lots of Texas history facts that I had forgotten over the years.  Peyton and Adam are studying Texas history in 4th grade this year, so it was great for them too.
