Thanksgiving

We had a fairly quiet Thanksgiving this year. Curtis and Stacey came down with the kids, but Louisa and BJ were with BJ's family.  Since we are now all living with my parents, we were all nestled in very cozily in my parent's house.  It was actually fine.  The boys all slept together in one room and the girls slept on a pallet in the family room together and we had our room and Curtis and Stacey had their own room.  It was nice for us to all be together in the evenings to visit after the kids went to bed.  Since we didn't have any other family over for our Thanksgiving meal, we all fit at one big table and since all the kids are getting older, we actually could all just sit and eat and visit.  It was one of the calmest holidays that we have had in a long while.  I did miss some of the craziness of extended family and lots of people, but it was kind of nice to have things a little calmer.
Of course, we had to have our Thanksgiving craft.  We got the idea from Karsten's kindergarten class.  They turned out really cute I thought.

Of course, we had lot of outside fun with bike riding and a friendly basketball game on the neighbor's sport court.
