Basketball

Peyton and Karsten played in a basketball league this summer.  They are alike in their playing styles in that they are both pretty hesitant to get to the ball.  Karsten hustles like crazy, up and down the court, with his guy on defense, but just doesn't have that natural inclination to get physical and get into the action just yet.  By the end of the season, he was getting more involved in the play of the game and scored 3 baskets and got 3 rebounds his last game of the season. 
Peyton, on the other hand, looks like she is putting as little effort as possible in her play.  She sometimes sings as she goes up and down and court and oftentimes plays with her hands, which looks more like she is nervous and just doesn't really know what to do with them.  My mom said that I used to do that when I played sports at her age.  It is really funny to watch her.  She did play on a coed team, so playing with boys was very different for her.  It did force her to hustle a little bit more and play harder on defense.  She scored one basket for the season and got a few rebounds.  They both have a great time though and would like to play again.  Here are a few pictures from one of Peyton's games:
