Ga Ga Pit

We took advantage of the brand new Ga Ga Pit that our elementary school constructed over the Christmas break.  It is a fun game where you swat a ball around a large circular pit, trying to hit the ball against your opponents legs. If you hit their leg, then they have to jump out of the pit.  Eventually there are only 2 left and one becomes the winner.  Then everyone jumps back in and the game starts over.  You can't throw the ball or kick the ball, you can just bat it around on the ground.  It is fairly safe in that the ball usually doesn't hit anyone too hard and most kids are not trying to tackle each other to get to the ball.  Rob and Ray disproved this by smashing into each other (Rob's head to Ray's shoulder) and both were sore from it the next day.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day to spend up at the school.
