Creepy Crawlies at our house

Apparently the very mild winter we had this year has caused a dramatic increase in the amount of bugs we are seeing this spring/summer.  I have never seen so many huge katydids in my life.  We are completely overrun.  There are 15+ on our back porch alone at any given moment.  We also found a scorpion in the shower last week and a tarantula on our fence too.  Bug Masters has paid us a visit and so far, so good.  Much fewer bugs!
