Vases for sale

Peyton has been begging me all winter to have a lemonade stand in our front yard. I keep putting her off saying that it is too cold and people aren't going to want lemonade in the winter.

Well, she got a vase painting craft kit for Christmas, which contained 3 vases that she painted. So, the other day she wanted to sell these vases in our yard to passers-by. She already sold one to my parents for $5. Yes, my parents paid $5 for a tiny vase painted by their beloved granddaughter.

Peyton figured that $0.05 was a good price to sell to the general public (sorry, mom and dad!). She actually decided to sell the vases for $0.04 and include a piece of Easter candy for $0.01.

When they got all set up, someone walked by and Karsten starting yelling "Do you want to by some vases? 5 cents a vase." Peyton turned bright red and turned to me saying "I am so embarrased. Karsten stop saying that. I am so embarassed." This is the same girl that has been begging to sell something from our front yard for months and now that Karsten is helping her, she was super embarassed. It was hilarious.

We did have a really nice neighbor buy one of her vases. Cantu lives across the street from us and always really sweet to the kids.
