Halloween

We trick-or-treated around our neighborhood with neighborhood friends again this year. Each year the kids want to stay out longer and longer. Long gone are the days of going to 5 houses and calling it a night. We trick-or-treated for about an hour and the kids got tons of candy. Then they passed out candy at our house to the bigger kids. They set up their little lawn chairs at the end of our sidewalk and yelled for the kids to come and get some candy. It was a really fun night.
Rob was smart this year and bought them the poem book "A Light in the Attic" and told them that they could trade in most of their candy for the book. They all agreed so we are going to take a lot of the candy up to our church to donate to a mission called "Mobile Loaves and Fishes" which takes a truck of sandwiches and fruit out to feed the homeless on the streets.

Mom and Dad had to join in on the Halloween fun as a basketball player and referee.

Cowboy Cooper got a little tuckered out after a while and enjoyed singing to himself in the wagon while my dad pulled him.
