Christmas Eve Service

Rob's mom and Ray and the kids came in town for Christmas. We all went to the Christmas Eve service at our church. It is really cute. The kids get to dress up as either an angel, a king, a shepherd, or a stable animal as they enter the sanctuary. Then as the Christmas story is read, they get to come up to the front of the church during their part of story. Peyton insisted on being an angel. Karsten wanted to be a king (although his crown looked more like a princess crown), and Cooper was a cute little longhorn. We always end with singing Silent Night by candlelight. Cooper insisted that he hold his own candle and that it was lit. It was a little scary for a few minutes, but luckily we escaped with only a little wax on his pants.
