Karsten has been taking gymnastics since the fall and has really improved. It was fun to see him using the correct form even when just having fun at his party. His coach would be so proud.

Karsten's birthday party
Karsten shared his birthday this year with his good buddy, James. James goes to our church, is in Karsten's preschool class, on his soccer team, and lives in our neighborhood. It worked out really well because so many of their friends overlap. The boys thought it would be fun to have a gymnastics party and it turned out great. The kids had fun and it was really an easy party to host.

The foam pit is how they end all parties at Crenshaws. The kids get to jump around in the pit and at the end, they sing to the birthday boys and then they jump off of the trampoline into the pit and everyone throws foam cubes at them.

This is the cake my friend, Melanie, helped me make for the party. I thought it turned out really cute and the dinosaurs on top even made noise. The kids thought it was great. Instead of presents, the boys collected dog and cat food for an animal shelter. We took the boys this week to the shelter to drop the food off and they loved looking at the animals and seeing where their donation was going. I think it is great for them to learn to think of others even at this young age.

You always find kids to go a joint party with! Looks like the kids had a great time.
