Sprinkler Fun

The kids were so hot after the parade and playing outside that we turned the sprinklers on. They had a lot of fun doing "tricks" in the water and trying to show off for each other.

Ray made a wonderful dinner for us that night- grilled flanksteak, asparagus, and corn on the cob. We just didn't feel up for fighting the crowds and staying up way too late after such a busy day, so we just stayed in and watched the fireworks on TV. Maybe next year we'll brave the crowds and watch them in person.
