Well, our Christmas didn't turn out exactly how we had planned. Karsten came down with the flu on the 22nd and started on Tamiful on the 23rd. Peyton started throwing up and running a fever the morning of the 24th and we had her on Tamiflu by that evening. Ray had planned on coming down with the kids on Christmas eve and staying through the 26th, but very wisely decided to stay at home and avoid our germy house. So, we didn't attend Christmas eve services and we had a quiet Christmas at home with just us. Thankfully Peyton and Karsten were feeling much better by Christmas morning and the rest of us avoided any flu symptoms. It was quiet and calm and different, but the kids did really seem to enjoy just playing with all their new stuff, laying low, and taking naps when they just felt too wiped out. Not a bad Christmas considering we had 2 kids with the flu and no extended family to share the day with.
