My Karsten

Karsten is such a funny child. He says the funniest things and Rob and I are constantly laughing at him. Most of the time, he is not even trying to be funny. It just comes naturally for him. He is also a very friendly kid. When we are playing in the front yard, he waves and says "hello" to all the neighbors walking by.

This latest incident was at the mall yesterday. We were at the food court eating our packed lunch (I am trying to be frugal as well as a little bit healthier after our gluttonous Valentine's weekend). Karsten had just asked me if once he finished his sandwich, his blueberries, his yogurt, and his graham crackers, he could have a hamburger, when he looked over and saw a man sitting a few tables away from us.

Karsten- "Mommy, is that a he or a she?" (it was obviously a man)

Mommy- "That is a man."

Karsten- "Why is a man at the mall in the middle of the day? Doesn't he work?"

Mommy- "Maybe he works at the mall."

Karsten- "Hmm." Then he looks over to the man and yells "Do you work at the mall?" Then he yelled it again. It was hilarious. Thankfully the mall was loud enough that he didn't hear.
We love our Karsten!
