Jumpy Fun

We checked out this new inflatable jumpy place this weekend. The kids had a ball and it was great to let them burn off some energy indoors where we weren't all sweating to death in 100+ degree heat. Cooper definitely kept up with the other 2. Peyton and Karsten were both very patient with him, letting him tag-along everywhere and giving him a boost up tall slides when necessary.
Karsten also had a great time and was very comfortable running around and climbing on everything. He is getting much more adventurous that he used to be. Peyton was a rather cautious toddler, but Karsten has been our most cautious. Cooper, of course, has never been cautious and won't stop, even if he is falling down, hurting himself, and absolutely exhausted. We finally had to leave when he was so exhausted that he was crying and stumbling around. That boy just won't be left out! They all got to try air hockey for the first time and did a great job of taking turns. I was afraid someone was going to get their finger smashed by the puck or another paddle, but they didn't.
There was one really big inflatable that was for kids 5 and up. Cooper was not going to allow Peyton and Karsten to go without him (tears, screaming, throwing himself into the side of the jumpy castle), so Rob had to break the rules and get in with them. It was hilarious watching Rob crawl through these tight spaces to help Cooper along. There was a really tall slide that you had to climb up with using a rope line. Rob had to hold Cooper while climbing up with rope with one hand. He is a really great dad. Here are the kids coming down that slide.

  1. The new camera did an amazing job of capturing the pictures going down the slide. Where is Rob's though?
